Abstract: Research papers

 

The current wave of growth in open access repositories was based in the dissemination of research papers. In the increasingly diverse repository landscape, where are we now in achieving the original goals: how have they changed - and where do we go next?

This research papers strand will look at the repository infrastructure, issues of advocacy, process and ingest, and developments in resource discovery and use. It will go on to consider the policy environment which is developing both within and without institutions and finally hold a workshop session to draw out some developmental themes and requirements for the future.
