Abstract: Role of institutional repositories for preservation and where do we go from here?
This panel session will provide an overview of current
digital preservation research practices and discuss the roles and
responsibilities for digital preservation. Gaps and areas of future work
will be identified for the next 5 years to embed digital preservation
within HE institutions. The panel will be chaired by Richard Ovenden and
attended by all speakers from the previous session in the digital
preservation strand.
