UK Serials Group Conference

Nicole Harris from JISC will be giving a presentation on federated access management in two briefing sessions at the UK Serials Group Conference being held at the University of Warwick, 16 – 18 April 2007.  The briefing sessions will take place on Monday 16 April 13.30 – 14.30 and on Tuesday 17 April 09.45 – 10.45 and will focus on the opportunities, benefits and costs of adopting federated access management from the point of view of a service provider and service customers within UK further and higher education.  The sessions will also cover the business case, the end of Athens funding from July 2008 and international developments.

JISC (stand no.30) and JISC Collections (stand no. 32) will also be exhibiting at the conference and delegates are welcome to visit the stands to talk to experts about access management, digitisation of resources and licensing during the conference.
