WWW 2006 conference

JISC is proud to announce that it is a Silver Sponsor of this year's World Wide Web Conference, the global event to bring together the key influencers, decision makers, technologists, businesses and standards bodies shaping the future of the web.

JISC is organising a pre-conference workshop on the JISC Information Environment and Digital Repositories on Monday 22 May.

Organised by the International World Wide Web Conference Committee (IW3C2) (IW3C2), the annual WWW conference has played the fundamental role of gathering the trail-blazers from the international community to discuss, debate and explore how to shape and develop the future direction of the World Wide Web.

Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web, will showcase new Web capabilities along with other key experts.
