As Programme Manager within the Content team, I have responsibility for overseeing the smooth running of the Content programme (2011-2013), which includes 24 projects focusing on digitisation of special collections, creation of Open Educational Resources (OER) and clustering of existing digital content. I’m also responsible for delivering a number of support activities for the programme such as workshops, networking events and evaluation and synthesis work.
Over the past few years, I have also been involved in managing the JISC Phase 2 Digitisation programme (2007-2009) and programmes focusing on the development of institutional skills and infrastructures for digitisation as well as developing community content through a range of crowdsourcing models.
In addition, I have overseen a number of studies relating to digitised content focusing on evaluation and impact, users' needs for digitised content, and user generated content in the context of digitised scholarly resources.
I usually work Mondays-Thursdays.
