A set of open technical standards are emphasized in their importance to the
interoperability and sustainability of new projects.
The JISC toolkit, demonstrator, and reference model projects are emphasized
in their role of providing a foundation for new projects.
The e-Framework definitions and terminology is emphasized as providing a
theoretical basis for the integrity of the framework and the submission of
new services.
