The Blue Ribbon Task Force will be presenting their final report Sustainable Economics for a Digital Planet: Ensuring Long-term Access to Digital Information at this one day free symposium.  

Blue Ribbon task force reportThe report provides an economic framework and practical recommendations for ensuring the future sustainability of digital preservation and access.

The symposium will allow UK and European stakeholders to respond to this report through a mixture of panel and audience discussions and presentations from the senior figures.

During the day there will be presentations from a range of organisations including; the Blue Ribbon Task Force, the BBC, The Natural History Museum, The British Library, European Bioinformatics Institute, European Commission and JISC, who will be highlighting their perspectives on preservation and access.

The symposium is the companion event to a meeting taking place on 1 April 2010 in Washington DC. Conference tag BRTF
