David Baker was previously the Chair of the JISC Content Services committee. He became Principal of the College of St Mark and St John, Plymouth in July 2003 and retired in 2009. David has published widely in the field of Library and Information Studies with 14 monographs and some 100 articles to his credit. In recent years, his particular professional interest has been in the strategic management of technology. He gained an MBA degree from the Open University in this subject area in 2002.
