The JISC Board is an advisory committee to the funding bodies and determines JISC’s strategic direction and priorities. JISC also has three standing sub-committees to consider the constitutional issues of the nomination of members, remuneration, and the audit of JISC activities.

JISC previously managed its programme of work through four sub-committees focusing on infrastructure and resources, research, learning and teaching, and organisational support. The sub-committees disbanded on 31 July 2011.

JISC’s Transition Group will consider which ways of consulting with the community are needed going forward.
