JISC receives public funding from the seven UK post-16 and higher education funding bodies to carry out its remit. Each sub-committee spends against its budget on activities detailed in the funding recommendations. The budget is spent on programmes or services that continue from previous years as well as on new activities commissioned and procured during the year.
