  • identified practical guidance and other activities that can be commissioned and brought best practice advice to UK HEIs on intellectual property and broader rights management issues in connection with e-learning to improve understanding and raise awareness
  • considered the national and international implications for intellectual property rights in e-Learning programmes
  • considered the scope of sector-wide procedures for rights management
  • considered the legal implications of digital repositories
  • worked with the IPR consultant in taking forward the workplan for the Group and identified gaps and/or new areas for future work
  • met as necessary and reported to the UK HE Funding Councils and relevant JISC committees as appropriate
