The aim of the Development Strategy working group was to create a coherent approach across the range of JISC development activities and maximise the return on investment that the community receives from JISC development activities.
Terms of reference
- created a coherent approach across the range of JISC development activities
- maximised the return on investment that the community receives from JISC development activities and consider sustainable models for delivery
- consideedr how to enable support services in institutions to better help staff to deliver learning, teaching and research through the provision of a robust national infrastructure
- identified key community drivers and stakeholders
- explored the transition of research and development to service
- clarified the work of the all JISC services involved in supporting development activities
- considered the organisational implications of the evolving strategy for JISC and its committee structure
- fed into the JISC 5 year review
- presented a draft Development Strategy to the JISC sub committees and chairs in May/June 2003
- presented a final draft to JISC sub-committees and JISC itself in Autumn 2003
