Terms of reference
- develop and maintain an overview of the programme areas in scope, with particular reference to their broad aims and ongoing development and content initiatives overseen by the JISC Integrated Information Environment committee (JIIE) and where relevant other sub-committees
- make recommendations to JIIE with respect to the selection, funding and commissioning of projects and other activities
- offer advice on the approach to management and structuring of the programmes, including funding and phasing
- offer perspectives from the learning, research and enterprise communities and in particular about digital repository, shared infrastructure services, digital content lifecycle management and digital preservation issues, and on emerging thematic priorities that might be reflected within the programme management, structuring or activities
- offer advice to the programmes on developing practices and standards that should be incorporated into the programmes
- advise on additional areas of work that could enhance the objectives of the programmes
- identify synergies with developments and organisations both outside and within the JISC community
- offer advice on dissemination, exit strategies and evaluation for the programmes and projects
