Next 12 months
Over the coming year JISC’s priorities will continue to be centred on providing advice, guidance and expertise for education and research.
It will be investing in projects which cover:
- cloud computing for research
- how to create cost savings and reduce carbon emissions through greener technology
- focussing on mobile learning and supporting access to and the provision of content
- how existing administration systems can work better
- software as a service and
- how virtualisation can provide data on demand
The future will be more challenging than ever in a changing economic climate, but JISC will continue to focus on delivering value for money, user-led services and quality resources to support the UK’s research and education community.
