Martyn Harrow
Chief executive

Martyn leads Jisc and its people. In particular he is implementing the recommendations of the Wilson Review to see Jisc and its related companies smoothly transition to new legal, governance and funding arrangements. He is achieving this while, at the same time, raising Jisc’s profile within the education and research communities. Highlighting ICT issues and the innovative use of digital technologies at the highest levels.
Alice Colban
Chief operating officer

Alice ensures the excellence and cost effectiveness of our professional support services; especially those concerned with governance, core funding and day-to-day operations. Alice is also responsible for the supporting the chief executive’s office.
Robert Haymon-Collins
Executive director customer experience

Robert ensures we deliver a cohesive customer experience strategy and organisational approach – reflecting a deep and sustained understanding of our customers’ needs. He ensures this focus informs and drives all of our operational and strategic priorities – steadily moving Jisc from a ‘product’ organisation to a ‘solution’ organisation.
Tim Marshall

Tim is responsible for bringing together Jisc’s digital technology related people, organisations, strategy, services and operations. He ensures our digital IT capabilities and expertise are applied cost effectively and imaginatively – making a real and sustained difference to research and education in the UK.
Lorraine Estelle

Lorraine overseas all of our digital content and discovery related people, organisations, strategy, services and operations. She ensures our digital ‘content and discovery’ capabilities and expertise lead to cost-effective, innovative and long-lived benefits for UK research and education.
Mark Wright
Chief financial officer

Mark oversees our financial activities to ensure we deliver excellence and cost effectiveness in our professional support services; especially those concerned with financial and commercial matters.
Phil Richards
Chief innovation officer
Phil will lead and continuously develop a world class futures team. A group of experts with the capacity to identify, shape and exploit opportunities for new, digitally enabled, ways of working. As with all of Jisc, the focus of their activity is creating the greatest benefit for the sectors we serve. A well integrated team, sharing expertise and resources across the organisation.
