Outstanding ICT Initiative award open for entries

THE outstanding ICT initiative award 2010Have you been involved in an outstanding ICT initiative? JISC is now encouraging entries for its sponsored category at THE Leadership and Management Awards from universities across the UK.

The awards showcase leadership, management, financial and business skills in universities, so the judges will be looking for an initiative that can demonstrate not just an effect on its institution, but also potential for impact across the UK.

Ann Mroz, THE Editor, said, “When we launched the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards last year amid the gloom of a deep recession, we were taken aback by the magnificent response and heartened by the sense of immense pride in the work being carried out, often in challenging circumstances. We look forward to a wealth of strong contenders again this year.”

There are eighteen categories for 2010, covering procurement, estates, HR, administration, finance and fundraising, communication, library, ICT, student services, international strategy, admissions and registry, recruitment, research management and knowledge transfer.
