Circular 08/08: Projects in the areas of curriculum delivery, assessment and course advertising
JISC invites institutions to submit funding proposals for projects to undertake work in the following areas:

Transforming Curriculum Delivery Through Technology |
10-14 large scale projects to explore how technology can enhance curriculum delivery, support and assessment. Up to £200,000 per project |

Call II |
Assessment Demonstrators |
Up to 4 projects to develop assessment software demonstrators. Up to £45,000 per project |
|
Call III |
Course Description and Discovery |
6 small scale projects to implement and test the XCRI course information specification. Up to £10,000 per project |
Total funding of £3 million is available for this work over a period of up to two years. The full version of the circular 08/08 gives the complete details of the different projects.
The deadline for receipt of proposals is no later than
12.00 noon on 1 August 2008.
JISC is holding a community briefing event where potential bidders will be given information about the background to the calls, their objectives and the bidding process. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions about the circular. This meeting will take place on the 24 June 2008 in Birmingham
Please note: The budget should be broken down across financial years (April–March) or parts thereof.
