JISC activities at the conference
Participants are invited to learn more about JISC’s new Greening ICT programme by talking to JISC staff on stand no.31 in the exhibition. You can also take part in the JISC workshop ‘Sustainable ICT in your university or college’ on Tuesday 23 March, 3.50 pm - 4.50 pm. The workshop will focus on the work of JISC's new 'ICT Energy and Carbon Management' project, which aims to help UK institutions assess their own ICT related carbon footprints and develop action plans to reduce carbon emissions.
On Tuesday 23 March, participants will also be able to find out which colleges and universities have been short listed for the prestigious Green Gown Awards, for which JISC is co-sponsoring the award category with the Universities and Colleges Information Systems Association (UCISA).
